What We Do Best

Areas of expertise

We are the first ADAS Calibration center in the Olean area. Our technicians have been extensively trained on all the different types of ADAS systems including radar, cameras, ultrasonic, and lidar to name a few. See below to learn about all the different types of ADAS systems and how they work on your vehicle.

(ACC) Adaptive Curise Conrol

This system adjusts your vehicles speed to maintain a safe distance with vehicles ahead. The forward facing camera in your windshield and/or the front radar behind the grill or bumper make up this system.

(AVM) Around View Monitoring

This system provides a 360 degree, bird's-eye view to help drivers park more easily as well as see obstructions before moving the vehicle. Cameras in the grill, rear trunk or lift gate, and side view mirrors work in tandem to give the top down view.

(RCW) Rear Collision Warning

Rear collision warning is just as it sounds. It warns the driver of vehicles coming close to the rear of their vehicle. This system will also warn the driver when backing out of a parking space or driveway if there is a vehicle passing by.

(LDW) Lane Departure Warning

The camera in the windshield near the rear view mirror controls this system. At certain speeds, the vehicle will warn the driver if the vehicle drifts out of their lane.

(APA) Automated Parking Assist

This ADAS system provides audible, visual, or haptic obstruction warnings during low-speed parking maneuvers. This is accomplished with the use of ultrasonic sensors in the front and rear bumpers.

(LIDAR) Light Imaging Detection

This system detects objects in the vehicle's vicinity to create a 3D map of the objects and surroundings. This system is seen on many Teslas

(NVS) Night Vision Systems

Night vision improves a driver's vision in darkness or poor weather conditions. This is the same technology used in night vision goggles.

(BSD) Blind Spot Detection

This is one of the most common ADAS systems on today's vehicles. It detects and warns drivers of vehicles in either the driver or passenger rear corners (blind spots)

(PD) Pedestrian Detection and (TSR) Traffic Sign Recognition

(PD) alerts the driver to the presense of a pedestrian in front of the vehicle, and (TSR) recognizes traffic sign info and visually relays it to the driver.

When is an ADAS Calibration Needed?

Whenever and ADAS sensor’s aiming is disrupted in any way, an ADAS calibration is required. Disruption can happen from a collision, even a minor fender bender, or as a result of common services like windshield replacement, suspension repair, or wheel alignment.

It's recommended that you have your ADAS systems checked as often as other routine maintenance
